The service

What are eco-friendly screen printing services?

Eco-friendly screen printing services replace standard plastisol, a PVC-based ink, with water-based ink. The ink soaks into the fibers instead of sitting on top, so the print feels soft and breathes with the garment. Screens and tools clean up with water rather than harsh solvents. Because we also make the garment, sustainable screen printing here covers the whole piece, from fabric to finished print.

Water-based vs plastisol

Water-based ink

  • Soft hand, feels part of the fabric
  • Breathable on cotton and fleece
  • Not PVC-based; cleans up with water
  • Matte, worn-in finish

Plastisol ink

  • Thicker layer on top of the fabric
  • Can feel heavy on large prints
  • PVC-based; needs solvent cleaning
  • Glossier and brighter on dark colors

What we print

Water-based screen printing in three categories

Oversized streetwear hoodie with a large water-based back print on a concrete floor

Streetwear

Oversized hoodies, heavyweight sweatshirts and boxy T-shirts with large back prints that stay soft. Eco-friendly t-shirt printing gives streetwear labels the matte, washed look they want.

Cotton team training T-shirt with a water-based print on a pitch-side bench

Sportswear

Cotton training tops, team T-shirts and tracksuits for clubs and sports brands. For polyester performance kits, we recommend sublimation instead, so each fabric gets the right method.

Gym T-shirt and shorts with a soft water-based print on a rubber gym floor next to a dumbbell

Fitness wear

Gym T-shirts, shorts and hoodies in cotton and cotton-rich blends. A breathable print doesn’t trap heat during training and moves with the fabric.

Your spec, every detail

What you choose with our eco-friendly screen printing services

01

Artwork & colors

Send your logo or artwork. We separate the colors and make one screen per color. Bold, solid graphics print best.

02

Placement & size

Chest, back, sleeve or full front. We confirm the print size and position on your sample.

03

Garment & fabric

Cotton and cotton-rich fabrics take water-based ink best. Choose the fabric, GSM and color with your quote.

04

Add-ons & branding

Combine the print with embroidery, puff printing, rhinestone or mixed techniques, plus neck labels, care labels, hangtags and branded packaging. For photo-style art, see DTG printing.

Minimum order

Low MOQ: 25 pieces per design

MOQ: 25 pieces per design. Colors can be mixed and sizes can be split within the 25 pieces.

Many print shops count their minimum per color. Our eco-friendly screen printing services count per design, so you can test a new graphic without holding stock you can’t sell.

Example order: 25 hoodies = 15 black + 10 grey, split across S, M, L and XL.

Sampling

Your first printed sample in 7–10 days

Before bulk, we make a sample so you can check the print color, hand feel and placement in your hands. Water-based colors can look slightly different on each fabric, so the sample is where we lock them in. Sampling takes 7–10 days. Sample cost is quoted per design, and 50% of it is adjusted against your bulk order.

If anything needs to change, we adjust the artwork or screens before production starts, so the bulk matches the sample you approved.

Pricing

How is a printed order priced?

Every order is quoted per design, with no fixed price list. The price depends on four things: fabric and GSM, quantity, the print (number of colors and size), and labels and packaging. Change one, and the price changes with it.

Send your design. Quote within 24 hours.

FAQ

Eco-Friendly Screen Printing Services FAQs

What do eco-friendly screen printing services include?

They replace PVC-based plastisol with water-based ink that soaks into the fabric. At Luxury Stitch, our eco-friendly screen printing services also cover the garment itself: we cut and sew it, print it, label it and pack it.

How do I choose an eco-friendly screen printing service?

Ask which ink they will use on your fabric, then compare the MOQ, sampling time, bulk lead time and payment terms. Ask for any eco claim in writing, and approve a printed sample before bulk.

Is water-based ink better than plastisol?

It depends on the job. Water-based ink gives a softer, breathable print, is not PVC-based and works best on cotton and cotton-rich fabrics. Plastisol is thicker and can look brighter on dark colors. We test your print on a sample before bulk.

What is your MOQ?

MOQ: 25 pieces per design. Colors can be mixed and sizes can be split within the 25 pieces. For example, 25 hoodies can be 15 black and 10 grey across S, M, L and XL.

How long does sampling take, and what does it cost?

Sampling takes 7–10 days. Sample cost is quoted per design, and 50% of it is adjusted against your bulk order.

What is the bulk production lead time?

Bulk production starts from 12 days. Larger quantities take longer, and we confirm the exact time with your quote.

How much does eco-friendly screen printing cost?

We quote per design. The price depends on fabric, GSM, quantity, the number of print colors, print size and packaging. Send your design and you get a quote within 24 hours.

Do you ship FOB or CIF?

No, FOB and CIF are not our standard terms. We ship door to door: Express by DHL or FedEx in 3–5 days with duties paid by you on arrival (DAP), or our standard duty-paid service in 10–14 days (DDP). The ICC Incoterms® rules explain what each term means.

What payment terms do you accept?

50% advance, and 50% after production is complete and before shipping. We accept bank transfer (T/T), Payoneer, Western Union, MoneyGram, Remitly and NayaPay. We don’t offer letters of credit (L/C).

How can I check my order before it ships?

You get photo and video updates at every stage: fabric, cutting, stitching, printing, finishing and packing. The balance is due only after production is complete, so you see the finished goods before you pay it.

Who pays import duties?

With Express shipping (DAP), you pay duties and taxes on arrival. With our standard duty-paid service (DDP), duties and taxes are included, so you pay nothing extra at delivery.

Can a startup work with you, even from a sketch?

Yes. The 25-piece MOQ lets startups launch small. Send a sketch, a logo or a garment you like, and we turn it into print-ready artwork and a sample.

Will my designs stay private?

Yes. Your artwork, screens and samples are never shown or sold to anyone else, and we can sign an NDA on request.
